Sales will be conducted by resellers and through internal direct sales to strategically important customers.
We are in the process of building up a network of resellers. Svenska Aerogel will primarily focus on resellers that brings more to the table than just sales, with their superior technical competence and a broad commercial network in the geographical areas in which resellers operates. A resellers technical competence is crucial as the first sales stages require joint technical studies, tests conducted between Svenska Aerogel, resellers and customers.
The launch started to a lesser extent in 2016 to really accelerate in the second quarter of 2017. By the third quarter of 2017, there were about 150 companies that started technical projects and evaluations of Quartzene in thermal insulation applications. These 150 companies are in different phases, that is, they vary in how close they are to product launch.
